Pochampally exceeds Rs.10,00,000,00 in yearly business with yarn sales, handloom product purchases, and sales.In 2010, the government split the belt into two clusters, daring to revive the dying art by creating common weaving centers.

Geographical indication rights

Pochampally saree obtained Intellectual Property Rights Security or Geographical Indication (GI) status in 2005. Pochampally Ikat belongs to the Handloom Weavers and the Handloom Tie and Dye Silk Sarees Manufacturers Association.
